Un unknown error when I try to buy all guides. But I thought I was billed in 9,99 when I bought it. All is locked and I cant install or buy nothing. Frustration
Really cool and structured App! Has all Information you need to discover a new city. Great!
If youre visiting any of the included cities its an amazing resource to have.
This app is the perfect companion for people who travel. Very intuitive and easy to use. Dont think, just download it and thank me later.
Lots of great info and easy to use!
This works on iPad and lonely planet is still iPhone only. Plus its free and has good discounts on attractions.
Good, but only 6 cities.
Havent used it much yet but so far i think it will definitely come in handy planning our trip! One note: the Paris time seems to be an hour ahead?
but this app refuses to work on my iPad (one). Perhaps its designed for later versions.
A very nicely presented and easy to use app but it needs more cities to be really excellent. Maybe they could add Miami next....Im going there in the summer!!
My last name is Fodor :)
Whats the point of a guide for only a handful of places where I am not planning to visit? I am in Puerto Rico and cannot get a guide for San Juan.
good information on London at least, with good POIs. Black screens when transitioning to various pages. The ticket aggregator is great but it would be better if I could choose a date range that Im looking in.
Seems at first glance like a good general app. Would like to see a few minor tweaks like the ability to change default settings for currency and time, date and temperature formats on the home screen. You may not have, but theres a lot of the world that has embraced the metric system... Ill keep it and report back after Paris, I guess.
Mainly looking to plan for Paris trip, getting lots of good information. The maps are useful, would love to get more interactive train maps. More pictures of best tourist sites would be great too.
There are only 8 city guides and 4 of them are in the US. No way to know this unless you download it. London, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona are the non-US cities. Philly, Austin, SanFran and New York are the US cities. There - now you know if its worth downloading for you.
Would be better if it had more variety on cities, such as cities in Canada and Australia...
What few cities are described are great and offer very helpful information, however, the selection of cities is very, very limited. Quite disappointing.
I know that Fodors is American but please, there is a whole world out there, not just the US. Fodors would do well to change its title to something more aligned with its contents: American Cities, then the tourists would know where to look; travellers would then find more suitable apps! This one is being removed as a waste of space.
